Overview

This course introduces foundation skills for careers in the creative industries and entrepreneurship. Through a range of projects, students begin shaping their creative style while exploring entrepreneurial thinking and practice. Building on an understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape, you’ll learn design thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and key communication, business, and creative software skills. Students may attain qualification upon satisfactory completion of all units.

VPC: Each completed 90-hour block of VET equals one VPC credit.

VCE / VCE VM: The course provides credit at Units 1 to 4 level. Each completed 90 nominal hours of training provides one unit of credit. Credit accrues in the following sequence: Units 1, 2, 3, 4, 3 and 4, up to a maximum of six units.

ATAR: Students will be eligible for a 10% increment.

VASS: VE3

Delivery Mode: Face to face onsite at the Host school(s).

Structured Workplace Learning

It is strongly recommended that students undertake a minimum 80 hours of work placement.

Prerequisites: No prerequisites required.
